Ms. Hall is proud to announce that both Eleena Feinberg and Farruh Nabiev won first place in their categories at the 10th annual Young Artist's Showcase.  Eleena's photograph "Bird Man" and Farruh's Painting "Abby" won two of the 4 categories (Drawing, Painting, Photography and People's Choice). They are honored with a cash prize and certificate sponsored by the Optimist's Club.

 TOWSON, MD. – Sixteen Baltimore County Public Schools students have been named 2019 Carson Scholars by the Carson Scholars Fund. Thirteen BCPS students previously named Carson Scholars are being honored for their excellence.

On February 23, students competed in 6 science-based challenges at the BCPS Chemathon and 3 teams participated in the Physics Olympics at Dulaney High School.

The team of Sophie Garonzik, Noah Goldberg, Ryan Kornblat, Jacob Lane and Spencer Mann took second place in the Chemathon.

In the Physics Olympics, Aleksey Barankin, Jacob Block, Katelyn Flaks and Truman Stewart also placed second overall.

Pikesville High student one of four winners of national essay contest

TOWSON, MD. – G. Datnoff, a senior at Pikesville High School, is one of four winners of the national 2018 BB&T Student Blog Contest.

As a winner, her essay will be featured on the EVERFI blog in the coming weeks and she will receive a $250 prize. In addition her social studies teacher, Ethan Goodman, will receive a matching prize.

The blog contest was open to all students who completed at least three modules of the BB&T Financial Foundations Program during the 2017-2018 school year. The theme of the contest was leadership, and Datnoff’s essay was about her experience writing for the school newspaper under a new editor-in-chief.

Cross Country State Championships
state championshipsCongratulations to L. Bierer for placing 3rd in State Championships and to A. Taule for placing 24th. The boys overall placed 9th and the girl placed 10th.

Pikesville Boys cross country team finished first in the 1A North region. All boys placed in the top 15 out of 70 runners and ran the 5k in under 20 minutes.
